Couple Quick Updates

Carter has 6 teeth.

Crawled up the whole set of stairs yesterday - for the first time. He normally didn't have much interest in the stairs and I wasn't about to push it, but last night he was playing with Joe and went up each and every stair!

Carter isn't a copier at all and we've been trying to get him to wave for a long time. He finally did it today, but when he saw me looking he stopped. I have a feeling this kid has streak of defiant in him!

He is standing on his own a lot now and tried to take a couple steps yesterday. Walking might not be too far off!

Our awesome pediatrician's office called the eye doctor and got us a consult for 1025am on Monday the 21st. Yeay! I love our pediatrician's office. I called to talk to a nurse about eye meds and she called me back two times - 1) because she had an idea for us (a new eye drop) and 2) to see if I was ok with her calling to see if she could get us in for a consult sooner. Yes! I am ok with that!

Pictures.... or the lack there of. I seem to be on a picture taking hiatus. There are only so many pictures one can take of Carter playing in his room with his toys. We are really looking forward to moving and some new scenery. Even if it will be 120 degrees when we move back. We'll do lots of swimming I'm sure. There will also be lots of pictures coming from Cartboo's first birthday - next week! - and our mini vacation to Phoenix. Plus we're planning to hike in Sedona one of these weekends. I think I speak for all of us when I say we're ready to get out of this town and back to our house and a town with lots to do.

So for today's post we'll play the flickr draw. Pick a random flickr page (where I host the pictures) and pick an image.
